Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia is a Brazilian leading Higher Education institution focused in applied research and has great relationship with the industry sector, mainly based in the same district. Companies like, General Motors, Thales Group and PSA are partners located less than 10 minutes far from our Campus and usually running activities in partnership with us. International students have access to our state of the art Campus with more than 100 labs and the opportunity to combine his studies with industry visits, real industry projects and potentially professional internships with our partners. Actually there are three possibilities available for international students:
Students are welcome to run applied research in our Campus, with access to our infrastructure and a tutor in English (potentially in other languages as well). Start dates and length of stay are quite flexible and negotiated on an individual basis. Potentially, Mauá can manage to facilitate also an professional internship at an industry partner. Financial support may be available.
Students interested in study a year or a semester with us are welcome to fill our online application. The Brazilian academic calendar goes from February to June and from August to November. Most of subjects are taught in Portuguese
IMT has good experience offering customized programmes on demand. We have also partners to manage logistics covering accommodation, internal flight tickets, cultural activities and a coordinator available 24/7 during the trip.
